Twister (Bubba) is a Mini/Welsh gelding I purchased from a traveling pony ring company when he was just 6 months old. His purpose was to be a companion for my saddle horse, Justin. Little did I know that he preferred to make a mark of his own as a driving pony and clicker demo participant.
In 2003 and 2004 he won both the High Point Open Driving Horse of the year awards and the Fall Silver Spectacular Silver Buckle Series open driving buckles in the Southern Oregon Horse Activities competitions.
Twister will do anything for a click/treat and is very helpful with chores around the farm. He will pull a tarp laden with debris and pulls a handmade wagon that I load with leaves during fall cleanup.
Twister loves to go camping and ponies along on the shorter trail rides. He willingly goes anywhere a horse will go. What a joy he has been for me!
